Palio ("Palio", "we", "us") is an unofficial AI companion web app for the game Palworld. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at bemato.helpdesk@gmail.com.

Information we collect

• Email address — used only to sign you in via a one-time magic link. We do not use it for marketing.
• Chat messages you send — the questions you type are processed to generate AI answers (see "Third-party processors" below).
• Usage data — daily message counts and quota state, to enforce free and paid limits and prevent abuse.
• Essential cookies — a login session cookie so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card or payment details.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To generate answers to the questions you ask.
• To apply free and paid usage limits and protect the service from abuse.
• To process purchases and grant the access you paid for.

Third-party processors

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Palio. Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the service:

• Supabase — authentication and database (stores your email and account state).
• DeepSeek — processes the chat messages you send in order to generate answers.
• Resend — sends your login (magic link) emails.
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing as Merchant of Record.
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing bemato.helpdesk@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and California's CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above. We do not sell your personal data.

Children

Palio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
